BASTIAN BUX, BBQS, & BEACH PARTIES BROUGHT A BANGIN' GREAT TIME IN HOI AN.

What a way to kick off Australia Day Weekend last January —with an unforgettable mix of great music, classic Aussie BBQ specials, and an incredible guest list of 250+! The shores of Hoi An came alive as Barefoot Beach Club hosted the fun-filled weekend in partnership with FUSE Hostels & Travel.

The festivities started early at 10 AM with a live broadcast of the Triple J Hottest 100 Countdown of 2024, showcasing the best tracks of the year as voted by listeners, setting the tone for an all-day celebration. Families and youth travelers alike joined in, creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. Attendees enjoyed ice-cold drinks and Aussie BBQ specials straight from Barefoot's firepit barbecue grill.

The night featured an incredible lineup headlined by Bastian Bux, the Barcelona-born DJ and producer known for his unique fusion of funky, disco, minimal, and tech house. His signature sound transported guests on a rhythmic journey, creating an immersive musical experience under the open sky. 

Before Bastian took over the decks, DJ Jasim set the perfect vibe with a sundowners set, blending house, minimal, disco, and UKG. His sets are a seamless fusion of deep grooves and high-energy beats, keeping the crowd moving as the sun dipped below the horizon. As the night reached its peak, DJ Bayerosauruss closed out the event with a danceable trance set, mixing nostalgic tracks everyone knows with infectious beats, creating an unforgettable party experience that lasted into the early hours.

With free shuttles to and from Barefoot Beach Club, getting to the venue was a breeze. The night didn’t end at the beach, as post-event shuttles made sure all youth travelers could head to Hoi An’s hottest clubs for the afters.
